largest Natural Bridge in the World
Rainbow Bridge, on the edge of Lake Powell, is the largest Natural Bridge in the world at 290 feet tall and 270 feet across. Rainbow Bridge is considered sacred by the Navajo culture as a symbol of deities responsible for creating clouds, rainbows and rain.
This National Monument is located up-lake from Page on the Utah side of the lake but is easily seen from the air or by boat from Wahweap Marina.
Alternately you can take a long hike from Navajo Mountain but you must first obtain a permit from the Navajo Tribe.
