An easy side trip from Zion or Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is worth the trip. Near the glorious red, pink and white pillars of Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Parks.
Ten miles off highway 89 are the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, not to be missed.
It is a relatively small area, uncrowded and fun to see and spend an hour or so hiking. This state park is about 10 minutes from the AZ state line.

The park is off the main highway, although it is all paved roads.
The Coral Pink Sand Dunes are a nice place to walk. Some dunes are steep on one side.
Be aware of possible snakes!
Trails are mostly in the sand, so not good for those who have mobility issues.
Fee to enter is $8,-.
