This trail is breath taking and not for those who have a phobia of heights. The path is narrow and strenuous, and the risk of a misstep into the abyss is real. However, your willingness to take the risk is rewarded with spectacular views at the top!
Angel's Landing is the iconic hike in Zion Canyon. The earlier you go in the day the less crowded it will be, which will make it easier on the chain section. Don't let the pictures of the chains and ledge hiking in the last .5 miles of this hike to Angel's Landing stop you from going as far as Scout Lookout.
